Living in poverty, 16-year-old Tai and his family struggled to make ends meet until they met Blue Dragon 10 years ago. He has been an active member of the Blue Dragon Football team for the past 3 years.
In the past, Tai was terrified of public speaking. Speaking in front of many people
made him nervous and fearful. However, everything began to change when he joined
the football team. With the encouragement and trust of Blue Dragon staff and teammates, he took on the team leader role. Over the course of just three months, Tai noticed a massive difference in himself. The once overwhelming shyness began to fade away, replaced by a newfound confidence. He no longer felt embarrassed or anxious.
Tai is now thriving in his role, enthusiastically supporting his football team. His growth is not just in his ability to lead but also in the joy he finds in helping others.
Thanks to Help for Hope, this child and many others are thriving through football despite hardships.
