Help for Hope Objectives
Help for Hope’s primary objective is to generate a positive, measurable and sustainable impact in the area of children’s relief. Each project is guided by specific objectives, and its resources invested according to the potential for results. Furthermore, Help for Hope’s objective is to also increase awareness for children in need, and to foster networks of talented, motivated and dedicated people who wish to make a positive difference in these children’s lives.
Scope
Help for Hope focuses exclusively on helping children in need. It does so through sponsoring projects that have an element of novelty, and that are led by carefully selected and trusted local social entrepreneurs. It is ready to engage in multiple areas, with a primary thematic focus on education and health. Geographic scope is worldwide, with a prime focus on developing countries, yet with a clear intent to also include selected projects in developed countries. Projects are limited in time, with concrete milestones and objectives. These will be measured and published.
Alliances
Help for Hope pursues its mission through providing seed money to local social entrepreneurs who are personally accountable for specific children’s projects. These local social entrepreneurs are screened and selected through a due diligence process that includes personal encounters, as well as specific selection criteria refined over more than 10 years of experience. Customarily, projects are initially kept small, and scaled up over time.
